What to Expect from an SLWG Meeting

Workshops for Writers is SLWG’s main meeting
Held on the first Saturday of the Month *except for some holidays
10am to Noon CST
The event is free and open to all.

SLWG Board members will login about 9:30am
SLWG members will arrive between 9:45am and 10:05am. We typically expect 60+ for in-person and 30+ for online events. However, members will also watch the recording of the meetings so the online attendance is usually highest.

The workshop begins at 10am when the President or Chairman will introduce the speaker using the bio provided. Some announcements will be made at this time.

SLWG takes a 5-10 minute break around 11am, or whenever it is best to pause your presentation.

The workshop usually ends with Q&A so please allow time for this, unless you wish to take questions during the event - whichever way you prefer is fine.

The workshop ends at Noon CST.
