Workshops for Writers - July 9: Writing for Games
Join game and narrative design professional Mike Breault from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 9 for a presentation hosted by the St. Louis Writers Guild. A discussion and question-and-answer session will follow Mike's talk. This event will be held in person at The Lodge Des Peres, 1050 Des Peres Rd., St. Louis, MO, 63131 and will also live-stream on Zoom.
The in-person gathering will follow the 2/28/22 St. Louis County Health Advisory. MASKS ARE OPTIONAL, and we will not collect attendee information for contact tracing. No food or drinks will be served.

Mike Breault is an Associate Professor of Game Design at Webster University. He has been teaching game design and narrative design at various universities (Miami of Ohio, George Mason, UT-Dallas, Butler, and now Webster) since 2016. Prior to that he spent over 30 years working in the game industry, accumulating credits on more than 130 games (90+ analog and 40 digital). He's worked in-house as a writer and designer for TSR, Volition, Raven Software, Ubisoft Montreal, 38 Studios, and Zenimax Online, as well as for over 20 companies all over the world as a freelancer. He has published a college textbook on narrative design and game design and is currently on a board game when his teaching duties allow.
