Happy New Year to SLWG members and fans!
We are ready to kick off the New Year with an special Speakeasy Celebration on Friday, January 22, 2021. In keeping with the New Year's celebration theme we will feature a Champagne cocktail, the classic French 75.
There will be another cocktail served up but it has not been chosen yet. Should you have any requests please send us a suggestion.
The featured authors will be Damon Runyon and Joseph Heller. We won't say anymore about them at this time, but we will talk about them at the January Speakeasy. And please bring along any of your favorite passages from either author. And as a further enticement, if you attend the Speakeasy in January and can say what links these two authors so that they are showcased together at our Speakeasy, you will win a $20 gift certificate to Total Wine.
