The St. Louis Writers Guild mission is to further Missouri’s literary heritage and connect, support, and promote writers and literary organizations in our community.
Note from photographer: "An Ameren lineman climbing an ice-covered pole to restore power. Sleet and snow from the November 30, 2006 winter storm caused extensive tree damage, broken poles and downed wires. 510,000 Ameren customers in Missouri and Illinois lost power for up to eight days. 1,500 crews arrived from 17 states and Canada to assist in the restoration effort."
