Volunteers Needed!
| You must be the change you wish to see in the world. - Mahatma Gandhi |
Please help us add value to SLWG! Programs and events require a lot of work, but the efforts of many can turn it into just a little work shared by a few people. There are many ways you can help, ranging from one-time or occasional "as needed" services to handling a significant project or serving as an officer or committee chair. This is rewarding work, too. You'll get to know other members better and often meet our featured authors or others in the community. The planning of programs and events is often fun. Not only that--annually we recognize and reward our contributing members (see our Member Recognitions Program pdf document) for details! Please take a look at the opportunities listed below and let us know how you can help. This is only a partial list. For a more detailed list, see our Get Involved pdf document. Also, if you know of a way you can help that isn't listed anywhere, just speak up! We love volunteers!
If you want to volunteer, and we hope you will, please fill out the form at the bottom of the page.
